Cannoli Cream With Rolled Wafers

A delicious Italian classic unshelled.

Ingredients

  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 4 to 8 rolled wafers of your choice, to serve on the side
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon powder, to garnish (optional)
  • 3 tbs. superfine sugar
  • 1 tbs. pure almond extract
  • 1 tbs. toasted almond slices, to garnish
  • 1/2 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 cups Oikos® Greek Plain Yogurt

Directions

  1. In a bowl, gently fold yogurt, ricotta cheese, sugar, almond extract, orange zest and chocolate chips together.
  2. Serve 1/4 cup of cannoli cream and garnish by dusting cinnamon powder, topping with toasted almond slices and rolled wafers on the side.
