Creamy Pecan Pie

Creamy Pecan Pie


  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 1 cup Dannon® Natural Flavors Lowfat Vanilla Yogurt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 4 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 (9") pie pastry shell, baked
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans


  1. In a heavy saucepan combine egg yolks, Dannon® Natural Flavors Lowfat Vanilla Yogurt, sugar, and cornstarch. Cook over medium low heat, stirring constantly until thick enough to coat a spoon. Pour into pie shell.
  2. Beat egg whites with salt until foamy. Add brown sugar gradually until meringue starts to stiffen. Add pecans and spread over pie filling, spreading all the way to the pie shell.
  3. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 20 minutes or until top browns.
