Pesto Cheese Torte

Pesto Cheese Torte


  • 1 quart Dannon® Plain Yogurt drained 35-40 minutes
  • 1 cup plain dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup prepared pesto
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • Tuscany toasts or bruschetta


  1. Pre–heat oven 350 degrees F.
  2. In a small bowl combine bread crumbs and oil: mix well. Press crumb mixture into a greased 9–inch springform pan.
  3. In another bowl whisk together drained yogurt and eggs. Mix in pesto, grated Parmesan and season mixture. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  4. Bake torte for 45 minutes or until firm to the touch. Serve torte warm with bruschetta or Tuscany toasts.
