Turkey Taco Salad

Turkey Taco Salad

  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 4 ounces ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Salt
  • Romaine lettuce, cleaned and chopped
  • 2 lime wedges
  • 2 Tablespoons jarred salsa or pico de gallo
  • 2 Tablespoons plain Dannon Oikos Greek nonfat yogurt


  1. Lightly spray a nonstick skillet with cooking spray.
  2. Preheat a pan and sauté the onion until translucent, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the turkey, cumin, chili powder, and cinnamon. Season to taste with salt.
  4. Cook, stirring constantly, until the turkey is browned, 4 to 5 minutes. Place the lettuce on a plate and add the cooked turkey.
  5. Garnish with the lime wedges, salsa, and plain Dannon Oikos Greek nonfat yogurt.
